GenU is looking for a collaborative Behaviour Support Team Leader to provide clinical support and supervision to a team of Behaviour Support Practitioners providing person-centred support to participants of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

What you'll do
* Lead a multidisciplinary team of 12, optimising team performance and client outcomes.
* Reduce and eliminate the use of restrictive practice and promote quality of life for those experiencing challenging behaviours.
* Participate in and contribute to the development of the Allied Health team's business.
* Build, strengthen and promote effective, cooperative and positive partnerships and relationships with internal and external providers.
* Maintain involvement and contact with relevant networks to keep abreast of changes to practice or legislation that impact service delivery.
What you'll bring
* Ability to lead a multidisciplinary team, managing human, financial and physical resources.
* Working knowledge of NDIS and basic Quality and Safeguarding principles, including Positive Behaviour Support (PBS).
* Experience planning, implementing and evaluating clinical programs and continuous improvement activities.
* Relevant tertiary qualification in Allied Health (e.g., Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Psychology, Speech Pathology, Social Work).
* Experience working with people with disability or registration as a Behaviour Support Practitioner with NDIS.
* Registration with AHPRA or an awarding professional body where applicable.
* Valid Driver's Licence.
