School Crossing Supervisor - Tamworth Local Government Area
Join Transport for NSW as a casual School Crossing Supervisor in Tamworth. This role involves ensuring the safety of children, parents, teachers, and motorists during school hours.
About the Role
As a Road Safety Hero, you will be a trusted community figure, helping keep our roads safe during peak school times. The position is casual, providing relief at various sites within Tamworth Local Government Area. Shifts typically occur between 8:00-9:30 AM and 2:30-4:00 PM on school days, with a minimum of one hour per shift, Monday to Friday during school terms. You will be paid hourly plus superannuation.
About You
You are community-minded, reliable, and committed to safety in all weather conditions. You possess effective communication skills and are alert to potential hazards. Willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check, Police Check, and Health Assessment is required, with support provided during the process. If you already have a Working with Children Check, that will expedite your application.

* Must be 18 years or older at the time of appointment
* Ability to work in all weather conditions
* Willingness to complete necessary checks and assessments
