About the Opportunity
The Business & HR Manager is responsible for leading and managing support staff of the Business Services Section (BSS) and overseeing the various functions delivered to the Crown Solicitor's Office (CSO) including a human resources support function, governance, practice and operational reporting, records, oversight of CSO communications and a variety of administrative systems and processes administered by BSS. The Business & HR Manager also assists the Director, Business Services with financial management.
About the Business
The Crown Solicitor's Office, through the Attorney-General, provides legal services to government, Ministers, agencies and departments, including legal advice, representation before courts and tribunals, negotiating commercial contracts, drafting and production of legal documents, counsel for the conduct of summary prosecutions and Magistrates' appeals, native title claim management, land conveyancing and investigation.
Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory. Successful applicants will be provided further information if an interview is requested. Forms are not to be lodged directly with SA Police (SAPOL) under any circumstances and any fees incurred by applicants in doing so will not be recoverable from the AGD.
Some out of hours work may be required.
