We're seeking a Project Engineer – Quality Assurance to join our experienced team on a significant Transport for NSW road project, located at Richmond Road in Sydney.
About the Project The Australian and NSW Governments have jointly funded an upgrade of Richmond Road between Elara Boulevard and Heritage Road, Marsden Park as part of North West Growth Centre Road Network Strategy to support development in the fast-growing North West Growth Area.
Transport for NSW completed the four-lane upgrade of Richmond Road between M7 Motorway and Garfield Road West in ****.
The next stage of work on Richmond Road north of Elara Boulevard is being built by Daracon to meet the current and projected traffic volumes.
Richmond Road provides an important north-south link through an area of north-west Sydney which is set to undergo significant land-use and transport changes, including rapid population and employment growth over the next 20 years and beyond.
The upgrade is intended to provide safer and improved access to fast growing residential developments in the Marsden Park precinct and future commercial and residential developments in the Marsden Park North precinct.
This role will directly assist the Project Manager and responsible Package Engineers in maintaining Engineering traceability throughout construction.
Requirements Key Responsibilities Implement and monitor quality assurance processes in line with TfNSW specifications and project requirements.
Undertake Project Engineering activities as required to support the construction team objectives.
Conduct inspections, audits, and compliance checks to ensure adherence to standards.
Collaborate with construction teams, designers, and stakeholders to resolve quality issues promptly.
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for quality compliance and project milestones.
About You Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
Strong understanding of TfNSW specifications and RMS standards, specifically Q6.
Experience in developing and maintaining quality assurance on road or civil infrastructure projects.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Strong organisational skills in order to be able to manage your time and plan effectively in a fast paced, diverse and changing environment.
Experience with InEight TeamBinder or equivalent construction software.
