Business Support Professional
This role involves providing administrative support to business units with a focus on reception. The Business Support Professional will work collaboratively with other teams to ensure the provision of effective administrative support across all business units.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
* Managing the reception area and ensuring that only authorised individuals are present in the office premises.
* Acting as the first point of contact for various internal and external queries (in-person, via phone & email).
* Reporting security incidents, breaches and task outcomes to leadership.
* Effectively fulfilling service requests ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction (internal) and answering employee queries and guiding them to relevant resources.
* Processing uniform and PPE orders and employee exits.
* Managing scheduling and invoicing of Employee Services and other staff gifts.
* Working in collaboration with other teams to provide administrative support across all business units.
* Managing confidential and sensitive documentation/information with appropriate discretion.
* Providing escort assistance for visitors and/or contractors attending site.
* Monitoring and maintaining company stationery supplies.

* Ability to adapt to changing priorities, tasks and requirements.
* Ability to work with minimal supervision.
* Knowledge of administrative practices and procedures for maintaining quality and efficient administrative support.
* Strong internal and external customer focus ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Highly developed organisational and time management skills including the ability to develop and maintain comprehensive administrative systems of work.
* Ability to work under pressure, including the ability to make judgements about competing priorities to meet deadlines.
* Demonstrated high-level proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite of products including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
* Ability to manage and coordinate a range of tasks with limited supervision.
* Ability to work co-operatively within a team environment and to build rapport with people from all levels of both the company and from the Defence environment.
This is a 2-year Fixed Term Full-time role.
