Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Statistical Science
We are seeking a highly motivated and accomplished Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Statistical Science to join our team on a major initiative. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and implementation of statistical data science skills in areas such as regional-climate data fusion, statistical downscaling, ice-sheet model calibration, and studying the effects of present and future climate on biodiversity.
This role involves collaboration with researchers from participating universities and research institutions to deliver interdisciplinary science and forecast environmental change across Antarctica, the sub-Antarctic, and the Southern Ocean. You will also be involved in developing effective environmental-stewardship strategies and securing Antarctica as a natural reserve devoted to peace and science.
