Overview
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join a fast-paced, high-volume environment where delivery, clarity, and collaboration are critical. You will work across multiple concurrent projects, partnering closely with business stakeholders and internal IT teams to define requirements clearly, manage priorities, and ensure successful delivery. This role offers the opportunity to step into a leadership capacity, providing guidance and mentorship to junior Business Analysts while supporting best practice, consistency, and high-quality outcomes across all initiatives.
Responsibilities
* Define requirements with business stakeholders and internal IT teams; manage priorities across multiple concurrent projects.
* Provide leadership and mentorship to junior Business Analysts and promote best practices, consistency, and high-quality outcomes.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of initiatives in line with business objectives.
* Engage in requirement elicitation, analysis, and documentation; support planning, prioritisation, and delivery management.
* Partner with Salesforce or similar CRM / lending platforms; contribute to planning and delivery in an Agile environment.
Qualifications
* 7+ years' experience as a Senior Business Analyst, with strong experience in Financial Services and business/retail lending
* Strong end-to-end knowledge of the loan lifecycle (origination to settlement and post-settlement)
* Proven experience delivering across multiple initiatives in parallel
* Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills at senior levels
* Experience mentoring junior Business Analysts in current or previous roles
* Excellent planning, prioritisation, and delivery management capabilities
* Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM / lending platforms
* Experience working in Agile delivery environments
What we offer
This is a permanent Sydney-based Senior Business Analyst opportunity offering up to $170k + super, with flexible working arrangements (3 days in office).
