As a Product Manager for the CTB Product & Process Transition team, the role will be directly responsible for helping to define and deliver product strategies, outcomes and priorities under Westpac's UNITE program. Responsibilities include end-to-end product and process transition and supporting future state readiness.
Location: Sydney-based role. On-site requirement: 3 days in the office per week. The role is highly collaborative, involving regular face-to-face workshops and close team interaction, making in-office presence essential.
Key Responsibilities
Partnering with the Service Owner and Lines of Business to shape and execute the Everyday Banking and Business Transactional Banking migration roadmap
Leading product decisions and backlog prioritisation across the product alignment workstream
Ensuring product and process simplification initiatives are embedded in delivery plans
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure readiness for customer and product migration
Monitoring delivery progress, identifying risks, and escalating blockers to leadership
Supporting the rationalisation of legacy products and alignment to target platforms
Identifying and managing risks and controls for the changes being implemented
Required Qualifications
Proven experience in Product Management within the financial services industry
Proven experience in portfolio management and developing/executing product strategy
Experience in large-scale customer and account migrations
Experience in transaction, savings, and payment product suites
Extensive experience with executive level stakeholders
A strong track record of supporting successful project delivery
