The Hotel, established in 1853, is in the heart of historic Beechworth in the foothills of the Victorian Alps in Northeast Victoria.

The area offers a great lifestyle with its historic buildings, beautiful scenery, abundant waterways, cycling, skiing and walking experiences. The township is near larger regional cities. There are good primary and secondary schools with access to quality health care facilities.
The Hotel is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week and provides good pub food with Asian selections, a quality local wine list, boutique beer and on tap beer, cider and Artisan Distillery.
There is regular live music with functions and themed events being a specialty. Tour groups and families are welcomed with pet friendly dining in the shaded courtyard.
A fully furnished shared house within an easy walking distance for the hotel is available.
