About the Role

The Gordon is committed to delivering an exceptional student experience, strengthened by evidence, feedback and meaningful insights. We are searching for a passionate Student Insights Advisor who loves working with data, people and ideas and who wants to help lift capability across the Institute.

Working under the direction of the AI and Data Governance Lead, and partnering with the Data Engineer, you will support our student feedback ecosystem, coordinate survey and insights processes and empower staff to interpret and apply student data with confidence. Your work will directly influence learning, engagement and student success, making this role an important contributor to The Gordon’s evolving data maturity.

Some key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

* Coordinate the design and delivery of student surveys and feedback initiatives to generate clear, meaningful insights driving improvements across learning, engagement and student success.
* Manage and enhance student feedback systems, ensuring strong integration with enterprise platforms and smooth, reliable operation across the Institute.
* Prepare, validate and consolidate high?quality student datasets and contribute to reporting, dashboards and performance insights used by leaders and educators.
* Partner closely with the Data Engineer to uplift data pipelines, strengthen automation and integrate feedback data into broader reporting environments.
* Build capability across The Gordon by training and supporting staff to interpret student insights confidently and apply evidence to decision making.
* Maintain and champion frameworks, policies and ethical standards guiding surveys, feedback processes, privacy, compliance and responsible data use.

About You:

Additional skills we need from you to be a great fit for this exciting role:

* Experience preparing, validating and managing datasets for accurate reporting and insights
* Capability with survey design or analysis of feedback, survey or operational data
* Ability to work with data or analytics tools such as Power BI
* Confidence partnering with technical specialists and supporting data pipelines or workflow improvements
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences

Salary Range:

PACCT 6 | $85,957.00 - $94,105.00 + Superannuation
