Key Responsibilities
* Lead and Grow a Multidisciplinary Team: Guide a diverse team spanning DSP and software engineering, fostering collaboration and driving collective success.
* Define Technical Direction and Execution Plans: Develop and execute technical strategies for algorithm research, development, and deployment, ensuring seamless alignment with business objectives.
* Bridge Business Priorities with Engineering Outcomes: Effectively translate technical goals into tangible business value, driving innovation that meets commercial expectations.
* Oversee Project Delivery and Testing: Set milestones, manage dependencies, and ensure successful project execution, including thorough testing and validation of algorithmic solutions.
* Cultivate Best Practices and Strategic Partnerships: Promote best practices in algorithm design, experimentation, and software engineering, while collaborating with other technical leaders to align strategies across sensors, effectors, and systems.
* Mentorship and Career Development: Provide ongoing guidance, support, and career development opportunities for team members, empowering them to excel in their roles.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Related Field**: Bachelor's or higher degree required.
* Leadership Experience**: Minimum 3 years' experience leading engineering or research teams, with a proven track record of delivering results.
* AI/ML-based or Data-driven Systems**: At least 3 years' experience working with AI/ML-based or data-driven systems, demonstrating expertise in these areas.
* Programming Skills**: Strong proficiency in Python and C/C++ programming languages.
* Project Management Tools**: Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
* Communication and Collaboration**: Proven ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams, translating technical objectives into actionable business outcomes.
* Commercial Solutions**: Track record of delivering commercial, production-ready solutions end-to-end.
