Sales Analyst – Sales Advisory (CL10) | Accenture Song
Location: Melbourne (Hybrid)
About The Role
Accenture Song helps organisations reimagine how they connect with customers by combining strategy, creativity, and data‐led insight to drive commercial outcomes. As a Business Analyst within Accenture Song's Sales Advisory and Commerce capability, you will work alongside consultants to help clients improve sales effectiveness and commercial performance. This role is focused on turning sales and commercial data into insights, supporting decision‐making, and helping clients understand what to change and why, rather than building technical solutions. This is an early‐career consulting role, ideal for candidates who enjoy working with stakeholders, analysing commercial performance, and developing a pathway toward a consulting career.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyse sales performance, commercial data, and business processes to identify trends, insights, and improvement opportunities
* Use tools such as Power BI and Excel to translate sales and commercial data into clear, story‐led insights
* Support consultants in shaping recommendations that improve sales effectiveness, customer outcomes, and commercial performance
* Develop client‐ready materials including insight packs, presentations, and working documents
* Support workshops and stakeholder sessions through preparation, note‐taking, synthesis, and follow‐up actions
* Assist with delivery activities such as planning, tracking, and coordination across workstreams
* Work closely with senior consultants and client stakeholders to support implementation, change readiness, and adoption
Qualifications
We're seeking candidates who demonstrate a consulting mindset, strong communication skills, and a clear interest in advisory work.
* Up to 3 years' experience (up to 5 considered if strongly aligned) in consulting, sales operations, commercial analysis, business analysis, or advisory roles
* Experience analysing sales, revenue, or commercial performance data and explaining insights to non‐technical audiences
* Hands‐on experience with Excel and/or Power BI for analysis and insight generation
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear, client‐ready outputs
* Experience working with stakeholders and contributing to workshops or presentations
* An interest in building a career in consulting or advisory, rather than a technical specialist path
