About the Role
We are currently looking for an experienced Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation and report to the Board of Directors. The role directly oversees the Ground Supervisor,, Finance Manager and Sales and marketing team. Key duties will include:
* Leading the organisation and providing executive leadership across all operations
* Developing and implementing the organisation’s strategic plan in alignment with Board direction
* Maintain and improve customer service standards and sales outcomes
* Delivering sustainable revenue growth across pre-need and at-need services
* Strengthening relationships with funeral directors and referral partners
* Overseeing cemetery, crematorium and memorialisation operations including delivering a high standard of excellence in the presentation of the grounds, facilities and service standards for clients
* Managing financial performance including budgeting, cashflow oversight and capital expenditure
* Overseeing staged land development, section planning and land inventory management
* Leading pricing strategy and memorial product development
* Ensuring compliance with legislative and regulatory obligations
* Maintaining governance frameworks, reporting processes and organisational controls
* Leading the team responsible for operational delivery
* Managing contractors, suppliers and external consultants
* Representing the organisation with community, cultural and faith stakeholders
* Supporting the Board through reporting, strategic advice and governance processes
