Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting.
- Oversee payroll, employee benefits, and statutory compliance.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with ATO and other statutory bodies.
- Manage internal controls and financial risk.
- Provide financial insights to support business decisions and growth.
- Supervise and develop a small finance team (Financial Accountant, Accounts Payable, Purchasing).
- Support ERP systems (Pronto) and oversee IT/data security initiatives.
- Drive lean‑focused business efficiency improvements across all business processes.
- Fulfill Company Secretarial duties, including:
- Reviewing commercial contracts and ensuring legal compliance.
- Supporting board governance and statutory filings.
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with mandatory CPA/CA qualification
- Minimum 15 years of experience in financial leadership roles.
- Experience in HR and administrative management is a valuable complement to core finance responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of Australian tax, compliance, and corporate governance.
- Proven experience in payroll, administration, and team leadership.
- ERP system experience (Pronto preferred) and understanding of data security.
- A Lean Champion mindset with a focus on value creation and business simplification.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Must have permanent right to work in Australia.
