About the role
We are seeking a skilled Trade Assistant/Labourer (Solar & Battery) to join the SAE Group team in Bunbury, WA. In this role, you will provide essential support to our solar installation crews, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
What you'll be doing
* Assisting solar installation technicians with the installation of solar panels, inverters, and other system components
* Transporting and handling materials and equipment at job sites
* Performing general labouring tasks such as drilling, lifting, and cleaning
* Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment
* Following all relevant safety procedures and policies
* Providing exceptional customer service to clients
What we're looking for
* Previous experience as a trade assistant, labourer, or in a similar role, ideally within the solar& battery, electrical or construction industry
* Australian Drivers Licence
* White Card
* Working Safely at Heights certificate
* Strong physical fitness and the ability to perform manual tasks
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality work
* A valid driver's licence and your own reliable transport
* A positive, team-oriented attitude and a willingness to learn
