Job Description
We are looking for a Lawyer to join our Cairns Office on a full-time or part-time basis, for a 12‐month fixed-term contract.
We are dedicated to providing tailored advice and legal services. Our team works hard to deliver a personalised service, empathetic support, and the best possible legal outcomes for all of our clients in challenging circumstances. Now that's a role with purpose.
We are seeking a Lawyer at any level of experience who has a strong client service focus, a personable and empathetic approach, and a genuine commitment to social justice. Applications are welcomed from lawyers at early, mid or senior stages of their career, including those with experience or a strong interest in Personal Injuries law. Flexible working arrangements will be considered.
Qualifications
We recognise that experience levels will vary and encourage applications from lawyers at all stages. The following skills and experience are desirable:
* Experience or a demonstrated interest in Workers' Compensation, Public Liability and/or Motor Vehicle Compensation claims (preferred).
* Litigation experience or the willingness to develop litigation skills, with appropriate support.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a client‐focused approach.
* A proactive and organised approach to file management.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
* Experience working in, or the capacity to adapt to, a high-volume practice.
* Interest in contributing to business development and broader practice initiatives (as appropriate to level).
