Role Overview
They are searching for a
hands-on, autonomous Ecommerce Manager
to own and grow their online sales channel. This is a
new role
in the business, focused on driving revenue and customer acquisition through the newly built Shopify Plus website. The successful candidate will combine digital marketing expertise, commercial acumen, and website optimisation skills to deliver measurable results.
This role is
channel-focused
, not a people management position. The Ecommerce Manager will work closely with marketing, IT, logistics, and sales teams, as well as external agencies, to execute and optimise strategies.
* Own the eCommerce channel end-to-end, with accountability for online sales performance.
* Plan, execute, and optimise digital marketing campaigns
* Implement and optimise website merchandising and promotions to increase conversion and average order value.
* Use data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement, including conversion rate optimisation and A/B testing.
* Track, report, and optimise key KPIs, including revenue, traffic, conversion rate, AOV, CAC, and ROAS.
* Work with internal teams and external agencies to ensure campaigns, site content, and promotions are effective and aligned with business objectives.
* Test, measure, and iterate website and campaign strategies to maximise online revenue and customer engagement.
Experience Required
* Strong experience
working to sales targets or KPIs
in an eCommerce or online retail environment
* Digital Marketing & Campaign Management skills (SEO, paid social, email etc)
* Experience running campaigns, monitoring performance, and optimising for ROI and sales (website merchandising, product presentation, promotional strategies etc)
* Ability to track and optimise conversion rate (CRO), A/B testing, AOV, CAC, and ROAS.
* Experience with Shopify (Plus preferred) or similar CMS platforms.
* Comfortable using analytics tools such as Google Analytics 4, Shopify Analytics, or similar
* Strong project management and organisational skills.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work with internal teams and external partners.
* Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of taking ownership of a channel end-to-end.
