We are seeking an experienced media professional to showcase our world-class research and education through effective communication strategies.
The successful candidate will support our mission by commissioning story ideas, editing, pitching to journalists, managing press conferences and briefings, coordinating responses to media inquiries, and leading a team of media officers.
To be successful in this role, you will need to establish and maintain effective relationships across the university, including with academics, researchers, and students in colleges, schools, and other divisions.
You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining excellent relationships with journalists and ensuring that our message is conveyed accurately and consistently.
