The NDIS Commission’s graduate program is designed to accelerate your career while fostering social impact. You’ll embark on a series of rotations or immersion opportunities, working on real-world projects that drive change within the Commission.

The organisation recognises the richness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and values the unique knowledge that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees bring to the workplace, policy development, and service delivery.

Your new role:

* A 12-month graduate development program.
* You’ll engage in projects and develop skills needed to excel in the public service sector.
* Gain exposure to senior leaders and collaborate with teams working on impactful issues across Australia.
* Flexible work arrangements to support a healthy work-life balance.
* Connect with our First Nations Employer Network.

Training and Development:

* Complete a structured 10-month learning program as part of the Australian Public Sector graduate development initiative.
* The Learning Program involves real-time interactions, live webinars, events, and activities designed specifically for APS graduates.
* Receive mentorship, career coaching, and planning to develop your professional skills.
* Support and guidance from a dedicated Graduate Program Coordinator.

Salary and Benefits:

* A competitive salary starting at APS level 4 ($82,999) plus 15.4% superannuation.
* Annual, cultural, and parental leave entitlements.

Culture:

We strive to be an inclusive and diverse community where everyone feels they belong.

How to Apply:

The NDIS Commission encourages applications from people who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.

We also encourage people with disability and lived experience to apply. We participate in the Australian Public Service RecruitAbility Scheme, which provides equitable adjustments for applicants with disability. A full definition of disability is available on our website under 'Definition of Disability.'

The NDIS Commission is the national regulator of NDIS service providers and workers in Australia. We uphold the rights of NDIS participants to access quality and safe supports or services under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
