The Group has recently introduced 59 Cameron Ave, Conference and Events Centre and Bar59 to our hospitality offerings and has commercial tenancies within the portfolio.This is truly one of the leading ACT Club Groups.The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative and executive support to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), as well as secretariat services to the Board of Directors and committees. This role is responsible for managing the CEO's schedule, coordinating board and committee meetings, and ensuring efficient preparation, documentation, and follow-up of governance activities. The position requires exceptional organisational ability, professionalism, discretion and confidentiality.Key ResponsibilitiesCEO SupportProvide comprehensive diary and calendar management for the CEO and meticulous record keepingDraft, format, and manage executive correspondence, reports, and internal communications.Liaise with external stakeholders, contractors, and corporate representatives on behalf of the CEO.Administration assistance with projects that are managed through the CEO office.Maitnain and monitor the flow of infomration to and from the CEO.Board, Committee and Administration SupportCoordinate scheduling and logistics for Board and committee meetings including preparation of agendas.Attend monthly Board meetings out of usual business hours and accurately record and transcribe minutes.Coordinate Annual General Meeting (AGM) logistics, including scheduling, coordination and preparation of the Annual Report, advertising, documentation, and minute-taking.Assist in the administration of the Club's community contributions program and affiliated community projects.General office and administration duties including procurement of office suppliesHigh standard of professional presentation and personal conduct.Experience in a similar executive or governance support role.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Qualification in Business Administration.Proven experience in executive-level diary and administrative support.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and digital scheduling tools.Experience in agenda preparation, minute-taking, and tracking of action items.Knowledge of records management practices and office administration systems.Familiarity with Board or committee governance processes.Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and time management.Effective interpersonal skills.Proactive, solution-oriented mindset.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Confidence in liaising with internal and external stakeholders.The BenefitsJoin the Canberra Labor Club Group and be part of a proud organisation that has been part of the Canberra community for over 40 years.
