Part‑Time CT/MRI Radiographer – North Shore Veterinary Specialist Centre (Sydney, NSW)
Mondays & Wednesdays, 9am–5pm | Advanced Imaging Suite | Leading Specialist Hospital
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate CT/MRI Radiographer to join our Diagnostic Imaging team on a part‑time basis, working:
* Mon – 9am to 5pm
* Wed – 9am to 5pm
You will support our specialists and clinicians by delivering high‑quality diagnostic imaging for small animal patients in a dynamic, fast‑paced, and deeply supportive specialist environment.
About North Shore Veterinary Specialist Centre
North Shore Veterinary Specialist Centre (NSVSC), established in 2001, operates alongside the long‑standing North Shore Veterinary Hospital (est. 1935) to provide seamless 24/7 care. With a dedicated team of specialists, emergency clinicians, and support staff, NSVSC is recognised for gold‑standard patient care and a collaborative, supportive workplace. The GP hospital manages first‑opinion cases and walk‑in emergencies, while NSVSC handles complex referrals, oncology cases in partnership with ONE Cancer Care, and after‑hours care, ensuring patients receive the right expertise at the right time.
Relocated in 2019 to a purpose‑built, state‑of‑the‑art facility, NSVSC is equipped for advanced interventional procedures, strong ECC services, and dedicated anaesthesia support. With plans to expand into neurology, advanced imaging, and residency programs, the hospital offers specialists the chance to work at the forefront of veterinary medicine while mentoring the next generation of veterinarians.
Facilities & Equipment
Part‑time CT/MRI Radiographer – Opportunity
To become a part‑time radiographer, you will:
* Provide gentle, compassionate care to small animal patients
* Assist in the day‑to‑day operations of the imaging department
* Work closely with Diagnostic Imaging Specialists and other specialist teams
* Operate the Siemens 1.5T MRI and GE 128‑slice CT scanner
* Acquire accurate, high‑quality imaging studies to support diagnosis and treatment
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in CT and MRI
* Confidence handling small animals and supporting their comfort and safety
* Strong communication skills and a positive, team‑driven attitude
* A passion for delivering exceptional patient care
