Hotel Brand: Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts Location: Australia, South Australia, Adelaide Your day-to-day Run the daily Conference & Events operations and assist across the restaurant, bars, and room service as required. Train colleagues in quality and service standards, ensuring they have the necessary tools and equipment to perform and are empowered to execute their roles. Ensure hotel service colleagues provide guests with prompt service, professional attention, and personal recognition. Greet guests upon arrival, interact effectively, respond to complaints, solicit feedback, and build relationships to improve guest satisfaction. Support the Food & Beverage Management team in: Planning for future staffing needs and completing all stages of IHG Recruitment onboarding. Promoting teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination. Supporting the team, driving performance, and executing projects. Driving team performance related to guest satisfaction, problem handling, and colleague engagement. Managing payroll, costs, inventory, and conducting monthly stock takes accurately. Ensure the security and proper storage of food, beverage products, inventory, and equipment, replenishing supplies efficiently and minimizing waste. Maintain cleanliness, proper stocking, and timely maintenance of food and beverage facilities and equipment, including banquet spaces. Handle credit and financial transactions securely. Ensure compliance with CSA policies, security of monies, credit, and inventory control. Establish and achieve quality and guest satisfaction goals, responding courteously to guest questions, complaints, and requests. Use and monitor IHG metric tools/audits to ensure guest satisfaction and hotel compliance. Wear and maintain PPE as required by workplace hazards and WHS procedures. Adhere to IHG policies regarding trade practices, gifts, bribery, and data privacy. Identify and report hazards, evaluate risks, and implement control measures. Support injury and illness investigations, recommending corrective actions. Demonstrate awareness of Crisis Management, HACCP, and WHS policies, ensuring information dissemination and record keeping. Assist in supporting front office, housekeeping, and engineering functions as needed. What we need from you Minimum 12 months’ experience in Food & Beverage/Restaurant & Bars roles, preferably in a hotel/hospitality environment, with team leadership experience. Qualifications in Hotel Management and/or Food & Beverage preferred. Flexibility to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts. Valid South Australian Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate. Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual skills are advantageous. Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize workloads.
