Our client, a respected family-owned business with a robust reputation in civil works, is seeking two (2) skilled Supervisors of Drainage Works to join their team on a major infrastructure project in Port Hedland, WA.

Project Details
Scope: Pit and Pipe Installation – Car Dumper Drainage
Location: Port Hedland, WA
Duration: Approx 3 months
Roster: FIFO 2 weeks on / 1 week off (2&1), 11-hour shifts, accommodation provided
Start Date: Targeting October 10, 2025
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of ~15 Drainage Labourers, Excavator Operators and general Plant Operators
Liaise with stakeholders and manage reports and documentation relating to client management
Assist and supervise the installation of stormwater drainage systems, pits and piping
Supervise and assist with trench excavation and pipe installation
Interpret and work from plans and drawings
What We’re Looking For - Experience & Skills
Proven experience in a supervisory capacity in drainage, sewer and stormwater installation - particularly with tier 1 contractors
Solid understanding of pipe bedding, laying and alignment (pipe laying qualification highly regarded)
Skilled in heavy machinery operations, including: Loaders and Excavators (trenching and placement)
Competent with laser levels for accurate grade and level installation
Experience installing precast concrete units (manholes, pits, etc)
Tickets & Licenses
Relevant civil/mining machinery tickets (Excavator/Loader) - Crane/Watercart/Roller tickets highly regarded
Dogman/Rigger tickets
Section 26 Statutory Supervisor Course
Mobilisation & Onboarding
BHP Inductions required (company can assist if not held)
Full medical to be arranged and booked by the company
Mobilisation timeframe: typically 2–4 weeks, but may be as quick as 1 week
