We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team in Darwin. The role will support a long-term client partner within the Oil & Gas industry on an established WA brownfields Engineering Service Contract.
This is a permanent position available as full-time / part-time (job share) basis, based in Darwin. You will work with engineers and vendors in the design phases to align with commissioning activities, provide technical commissioning input, and supervision of some site commissioning activities.

Key Requirements
• Suitably qualified with a degree in Electrical & Instrumentation (or a tertiary qualification supported with 5+ years of related industry experience)
• Proven experience in a similar role as an E&I Commissioning Engineer within a Brownfield EPC, ESC or EPCM environment, preferably within the Australian Oil & Gas / LNG industry
• Demonstrated commitment to safety
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills – both written and verbal
• Previous experience in a role of commissioning engineering and coordination working in a project multidisciplined team
• Experience of interpreting discipline documentation
• Sound knowledge and understanding of Risk Assessments (RA), Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOPS) and Hazard Identification Studies (HAZIDS)
• Good knowledge and understanding of technical specifications
