Shiraz Persian Restaurant + Bar is a well-established restaurant known for its exceptional Persian cuisine and outstanding service. We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to restaurant standards.
* Develop menus and create new recipes based on customer preferences and seasonal ingredients.
* Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, plating, and presentation.
* Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
* Manage budget and finance, inventory, order supplies, and minimize waste.
* Train and supervise junior kitchen staff.
* Maintain high standards while working in a fast-paced environment.
Skills and Experience Required
* Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchen.
* Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification (preferred).
* Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
* Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
