Hours: 7am - 4pm (Monday to Friday) or 4 x 10 hr days
About the Role We are seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our client based in Prestons. This is a hands-on role focused on the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of buses, ensuring reliability and safety for their fleet.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on buses.
* Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
* Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
* Work collaboratively within a professional workshop environment.
Qualifications & Skills
* Heavy Diesel Mechanic qualification (essential).
* Experience with diesel engines; EV qualification highly regarded.
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* HR License
