An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Dietitian within the Older People's Therapies Team in Homerton, UK. What You Will Do

Provide specialist dietetic assessments for a wide range of patients within the acute inpatient service, particularly within gastroenterology and surgical care.

Deliver specialist nutritional interventions for patients with complex dietary and medical needs across medical and surgical wards.

Develop and implement individualised nutrition care plans to support recovery and improved health outcomes.

Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors, nurses, and therapists, to ensure coordinated patient care.

Adapt dietetic interventions according to the clinical environment and patient needs, ensuring effective service delivery across different ward settings.

Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with clinical governance and professional standards.

Requirements

Registration: Must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Experience: Previous experience working within acute hospital settings or with older people's services is desirable.

Skills: Strong clinical assessment skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to manage a varied caseload.

Mobility: A valid driving licence may be required depending on service needs.
