About The Dental Assistant Role
Play a vital role in delivering safe, inclusive oral health care as a Dental Assistant at YourCH. This role supports smooth clinical and sterilisation services while helping create positive experiences for patients and communities. Perform client-focused dental care across a variety of settings including our in-house clinics, mobile clinic and outreach in community-based settings. We're seeking Dental Assistants to fill a total of 2.6 FTE with a mix of ongoing and fixed-term roles on offer. Part-time opportunities available, offering flexibility to suit different schedules. Offices located in the Northern Suburbs.
Your Passion and Commitment will see you:
* Support clinicians chairside with confident, high-quality care.
* Record accurate charting and capture clinical images.
* Run efficient setup, pack down and sterilisation workflows.
* Champion innovative tools like CoTreat AI and YourSmile Lab.
* Help extend public dental services to priority populations.
To succeed in this role you will have:
* Certificate III in Dental Assisting (HLT35021 or equivalent)
* Current Victorian Driver's License
* Demonstrated experience working as a Dental Assistant in a public, private or community health dental setting
* Experience working with diverse clients, including children, older people, CALD communities and those with additional needs
