We are looking for a Mid-level Full Stack Application Developer that has a slight tilt to back end development to join our Technology team. The role will be undertaking the development of web applications on an investment analytics platform to deliver scalable investment solutions to end users.
Key Responsibilities
Application Design & Development:
* Work with our internal teams to design and develop new analytical tools, data visualisation, dashboards and dynamic reports to automate processes, improve efficiency, enable new investment insights and assist investment decision making
* Develop front-end and back-end web applications
* Commercialise prototype tools and contribute to the enterprise architecture for a fully functional Cloud-based enterprise application suite, including deploying Azure resources via Infrastructure as Code (Bicep)
* Interface with APIs and contribute to the backend stack when required
* Responsible for developing secure code, code testing and updating technical and user documentation.
Data Management:
* Analyse underlying data requirements and work with the Technology team to identify gaps, integrate data from multiple sources and extract data from SQL databases for use in the application
* Work with our data management specialist to ensure the required data is made available to the application
* Work with our data administration team to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
Application Deployment & Support:
* Work with the Technology team and users on testing, including user acceptance testing
* Support code deployments through CI/CD pipelines, including release coordination, deployment validation and rollback where required
* Contribute to technical and user documentation
* Provide application and technical support to users.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience
* Approx 3 years' demonstrated experience in software development
* It would be beneficial to have experience with building multi-tenant data-driven SaaS platform and with understanding of productionising code
* Demonstrated experience in creating visually appealing user interfaces
* Knowledge of SDLC, OWASP, DevOps practices, secure coding and application security
* Experience with programming and development skills, such as:
* React
* Python
* Webpack 5
* HTML
* CSS
* Figma
* GitHub or equivalent
* CI/CD (GitHub Actions an advantage)
* JIRA or equivalent
* Public Cloud (Azure an advantage)
* Microservices Architecture (Docker, Kubernetes an advantage)
* Data Architecture knowledge
* Experience with Agile development
* Comfortable working in a small team and independently
* Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate at all levels
