Job Description
We are seeking a motivated coordinator to join our team, with great administrative skills and attention to detail. The successful candidate will be responsible for onboarding and supporting our volunteer workforce into placements throughout the North and North-West of Tasmania.
This role will also support management in staff recruitment and group volunteering, as well as representing the team in promoting a supportive and caring culture.
Main Responsibilities
* Provide supervision and administrative support to ensure the effective mobilisation of our large volunteer workforce.
* Liaise with stakeholders to place volunteers and volunteer groups, support the volunteer experience and any relevant administration.
Selection Criteria
* Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role.
* Diploma of Human Resource Management or equivalent.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Effective interviewing and listening skills.
* Able to prioritise to meet conflicting deadlines.
* Highly competent in MS Office.
* Database Management experience.
* Able to work within a varied and geographically diverse team to achieve goals and deadlines.
