About the Role
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will lead the Transport billing and costing teams across Sydney and Melbourne, to drive stability, streamline processes, and deliver ongoing improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading and developing high-performing billing and costing teams across two key locations
* Defining and aligning processes across Sydney and Melbourne to ensure consistency and efficiency
* Develop financial policies and guidelines to optimise current SOP's
* Driving process and system improvement post implementation of OneCloud and OTM systems
* Analysis of financial performance metrics to support strategic decision making
* Reviewing and refining financial and operational processes to strengthen data quality, accuracy, and internal controls
* Partnering with senior stakeholders across Finance and Transport to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
* Providing strong leadership, mentoring, and guidance to foster a culture of accountability and collaboration
About You
* Proven experience leading finance teams through periods of change, integration, or transformation
* Strong background in process improvement and team leadership across multiple sites
* Hands-on, adaptable leader who enjoys driving operational excellence through people and process
* CA or CPA qualified
* Experience within the transport and logistics industry is highly regarded
