Caldicott + Isaacs Lawyers is a highly experienced and specialised Law Firm that works exclusively in all areas of Criminal Law.
In this key role, you will provide vital administrative and secretarial support to our legal professionals, ensuring the smooth running of our practice.
What you'll be doing
* Prepare and process legal documents, including correspondence and court filings
* Maintain electronic (LEAP software) and physical filing systems
* Audio typing using Phillips SpeechLive
* Assist in general administration, diary management & meeting room bookings
* Undertake general office administration tasks as required
What we're looking for
* Preferably some experience as a Legal Secretary or similar administrative role, ideally within a law firm or legal environment
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing tasks
* A professional and discreet approach to handling sensitive information
* Must have Australian work authorisation or valid work rights
