Spinifex State College - Boarding Campus is looking for a motivated Transport Support Officer to keep things moving You'll handle daily student transport, term-time airport and town transfers, and ensure vehicles are safe and road-ready. This position is being offered in a Permanent Part-Time capacity (0.5FTE), 38 hours per fortnight.

Spinifex State College - Mount Isa Education and Training Precinct is a modern, purpose-built campus designed to support high-quality senior secondary and vocational education in the Mount Isa region. The precinct features state-of-the-art facilities, specialist learning spaces, and strong industry partnerships, providing students with real-world pathways to further education, training, and employment.
The college also operates a Department of Education-run Boarding Campus, located on its own secure grounds. Step Into Your Next Chapter
* This role requires the successful candidate to transport students to school in the morning to 2 campuses.
* In addition, it involves transporting students between the Residential campus, home locations, essential services and extracurricular activities when required.
* Ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures to oversee the maintenance, servicing and compliance of Boarding vehicles, including buses and cars.
* Conduct regular vehicle inspections and coordinate repairs as required.
* Maintain accurate vehicle logs and fuel records.
* Conduct risk assessments for travel routes and ensure all vehicles meet safety standards.
* Maintain accurate transport records, log books and incident reports.
