About the role
An opportunity for Support Workers in the Riverland Areato have steady and reliable work, supporting people with a Disability living in their own homes and assisting them in the community.
Must be able and willing to provide:
* Personal care – Showering, toileting, dressing, general hygiene, and grooming assistance.
* Complex Care- Manual handling, mobile lifter, physio exercises, etc.
* Domestic assistance- General tidying, meal preparation, and assistance with home maintenance.
* Community access –Transport to and from medical/therapy appointments, advocacy, social access, participation in activities that express personal interests.
* Activities of daily living - Therapy-led activities, hobbies, and interests.
About you
* Flexible availability across mornings, evenings, and weekends.
* Experience and confidence in providing (or willingness to be trained in) complex support.
* An approachable personality that keeps things light and fun, while maintaining a client-centered focus.
* Ability to think creatively, take ownership, and follow through with activities that benefit and positively stimulate client interests.
* Own car and driver's license.
* NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (or willing to obtain).
* National Police Check (or willing to obtain).
* Working with Children Clearance (or willing to obtain).
* Located in the Riverland region.
