The Role of the Food and Beverage Service Assistant is pivotal in providing high-quality nutritional support to patients and clients. This entails preparing, plating, presenting, and delivering meals/services according to established procedures while adhering to Queensland Health's guidelines.
About You
As a Food and Beverage Service Assistant, you will engage in operational tasks outlined on daily duty statements and procedures. These duties include food preparation, inventory management, serving on the plating line, and tray assembly. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in allocated areas such as ward kitchens, main kitchen, floors, storerooms, and cold and freezer rooms. Furthermore, you will need to manage an imprest system and inventory control of patient food supplies.
