Could you be our next Senior Business Insights Analyst?
Are you passionate about transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions? We're looking for a highly skilled Senior Business Insights Analyst to join our team. As part of McDonald's, you'll play a pivotal role in leveraging data to unlock new opportunities, drive innovation, and influence the direction of one of Australia's most iconic brands. You'll work alongside talented colleagues in a fast-paced environment, using your technical expertise and commercial acumen to deliver insights that matter.
What can you expect on a day-to-day basis?
* Translating large and complex datasets into clear, actionable insights to inform business strategy
* Drawing customer insights from transactional data to support marketing, supply chain, and operational decisions
* Partnering with cross-functional teams to embed data-led decision-making and influence outcomes
* Designing and maintaining automated workflows and data pipelines for efficiency and scalability
* Developing advanced SQL queries and Python scripts for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
* Building and maintaining dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio for self-service analytics
* Delivering robust reporting and dashboards to monitor performance and identify opportunities
* Exploring and applying AI-driven solutions to enhance analytics and business processes
Your keys to success:
* Advanced SQL and strong Python skills; experience with large-scale data handling and automation
* Proven experience building dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio
* Experience extracting and interpreting insights from large transactional datasets
* Ability to translate data into commercial insights and recommendations
* Strong communication and storytelling skills to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
* A can-do attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to take on new challenges
* Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset
* Background in Retail, FMCG, or QSR environments preferred
* Bonus: Exposure to AI/ML tools and techniques
