Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef / Cook to join our team at the Drunken Admiral restaurant in Hobart, TAS 7000. This is a Casual or Part-Time role, where you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing and cooking a variety of delicious dishes from our menu
- Ensuring all food is prepared to the highest standard, meeting our quality and presentation requirements
- Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
- Collaborating with the front-of-house team to provide an exceptional dining experience for our customers
What we/'re looking for
- Experience as a Chef or Cook, preferably in a restaurant or similar hospitality setting
- Strong cooking skills and a passion for creating high-quality dishes
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety
- Ability to work well in a team and under pressure in a rapid-paced environment
- Those interested in an Apprenticeship, we welcome applicants in their 2nd or 3rd year Apprenticeship studies, this is a Full-Time position. To apply for this position you will need to be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
