What You'll Be Doing
Provide a high standard of patient reception and administrative support for the Department of Nuclear Medicine and Ultrasound. The role supports the delivery of safe and quality healthcare and ensures accurate patient information management.
The position works closely with the Chief Nuclear Medicine Scientist and nurse specialists to manage scheduling, maintain high standards of performance, and support administrative functions.
Responsibilities
* Train and coordinate Admin Officers, oversee Medicare billing, assist with TESL applications, and participate in OH&S and quality improvement activities.
* Ensure seamless operation of administrative tasks in the department and compliance with hospital policies, including NSW Health policy on Correct Patient, Correct Procedure and Correct Site.
* Maintain accurate patient information and provide high-quality administrative support to clinicians and patients.

Qualifications / Experience
Experience managing staff and overseeing an administrative office in a clinical setting. Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and adapt communication when liaising with health professionals and administrative staff. Commitment to patient confidentiality and service excellence.
