**About the role**:
You will be responsible for supporting managers and staff in the return to work of staff and injury management in accordance with legislative and operational requirements to deliver an early and safe return to the workplace following injury or illness. You will work with the Safety and Wellbeing Manager to maintain relevant policy and procedures to support injury management frameworks across Aspect.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Supporting staff post injury and in all aspects of return to work and injury management.
- Promote and educate stakeholders about the health benefits of work and recovery at work
- Maintain Wage Reimbursement Schedules with insurers and Aspect Payroll Supporting staff post injury and in all aspects of return to work and injury management.
- Support the Safety and Wellbeing Manager to develop and implement appropriate policy and procedures for injury management to support an early intervention model.
- Work in close collaboration with the WHS Manager to achieve WH&S Strategy KPIs.
- Visit Aspect sites regularly to service staff impacted by injury, support managers and enhance the profile and capacity of the injury management function.
- Maintain a consultative approach with the employee, treatment providers, the WRP (where applicable) and workplace to develop actions towards shared rehabilitation goals
- Ensure the employee is aware of their rights and responsibilities under state and territorial regulations
- Promote culture of safety and wellbeing across the organisation
**About you**:
You will have demonstrated experience in a WHS management role and superior understanding of WHS legislation across state jurisdictions. You will have a pro-active and empathetic approach to employee wellbeing and possess the ability to mentor, coach and support managers.
This role will suit someone who is an excellent team player with outstanding written and verbal communication skills, highly organised and able to work under demanding situations and most importantly have a personal commitment and passion for promoting and ensuring work safety. You will have experience designing and implementing WHS and wellbeing strategies and procedures and a strong desire to embed wellbeing and safety as a core value across the organisation. This role requires some interstate travel and travel across NSW.
**Essentials**:
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Return to Work Coordinator
- Good working knowledge and understanding of MS Office software; in particular Word and Excel
- Experience and accuracy in the administration of records in accordance to state and territorial legislation
- Working knowledge of national return to work programs
- Tertiary qualifications in Work Health and Safety, Organisational Pyschology or a related discipline
- WorkCover accredited RTW Coordinator
- Willingness to learn about education or disability sector quality practice requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills verbal and written
- Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines, while maintaining attention to detail
- Process minded and good organisational skills
- Current Driver's Licence
- Ability to undertake travel to metropolitan, regional areas and interstate
- Working with Children Check
A National Police Check clearance is a requirement and Aspect will arrange this. Some regional and interstate travel required.
