The Role
This is your opportunity to be part of the Technical Publications Section producing quality guides and publications in plain English to assist the aviation community in understanding (and thus complying with) the aviation regulations. The role of Senior Writer/Editor, Technical Publications is based within the Communications Branch of the Stakeholder Engagement Division.
The Communications Branch is responsible for CASA's communication activities. This includes broad public and industry consultation and communication strategies, media engagement, website and intranet management, social media channels, safety promotion activities, graphic design, video production, sponsorships and event management, and development of plain English guides.
As the Senior Writer/Editor, Technical Publications you will need to:
* under limited direction, scope, develop and maintain plain English guides explaining complex aviation rules in a simple, easy-to-read writing style, and exercising good judgement to deliver quality work requiring little revision before finalisation of the given stage of document development.
