Accounting Officer Role Overview
The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in accounting and be highly organized with excellent communication skills.
This role is responsible for managing the financial operations of an organization, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Manage bank reconciliations and perform weekly/fortnightly finance tasks.
* Assist with month-end reconciliations and maintain the general ledger and sub ledgers.
* Complete statutory returns, including the BAS and FBT return.
* Be the point of contact for banking services within the organization.
* Provide support to the finance team and manager as needed.
Requirements:
* Qualification in accounting or relevant experience.
* Valid Victorian Working with Children Check and National Police Check.
* Driver's Licence.
