The Opportunity
Are you an experienced Senior Supervisor with a strong background in Building and Construction? We have an exciting opportunity based in Cairns (or surrounding areas within driving distance).
Please note: This is NOT a FIFO role and no relocation assistance is available.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Supervisor to join our team, supporting minor works projects. You will be responsible for producing high-quality tenders, quotations and ensuring all documentation is compliant with industry best practices and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality tenders and quotations for minor works projects.
- Prepare tender documentation ensuring compliance with departmental and industry standards.
- Utilise computer-based estimating packages for client quotations and estimates.
- Prepare accurate and timely estimates, quotations, material lists, and construction programs.
- Assist with the development and research of best practices in estimating, costing, and contract management.
- Work collaboratively with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to meet project requirements.
- Maintain a healthy and safe work environment, adhering to HR practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, and workplace health and safety standards.
About You
- Solid building and construction trade background.
- Strong knowledge and experience in Estimating.
- High proficiency with computer-based estimating software.
- Hold a current Car License
- Clean Criminal History is mandatory.
- Must reside in Cairns or a surrounding area within reasonable driving distance.
