This role supports two organisations operating from the same office located in Canning Vale, Western Australia.
The organisations provide products, consulting services, and project management services to the construction industry. The role serves both businesses.
Our ideal candidate can demonstrate the following:
* 2 years bookkeeping / management accounting experience
* High proficiency in MS Office suite
* High proficiency in the common accounting packages (preferably Xero)
* Very confident with HubDoc or Dext
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Extremely organised and able to meet deadlines
Candidates must have legal work rights to work in Australia.
The role will perform routine duties including:
* Maintaining accurate and orderly paper files and electronic accounting and bookkeeping processes in both companies' respective Xero files.
* Prepare accurate workpapers for accounting entries, when required, and process them when signed-off by the C12 / NWL Financial Controller
* Record financial transactions (sales, purchases, receipts, payments)
* Match and reconcile bank transactions with the accounting system
* Process supplier invoices
* Review and respond to finance-related emails
* Update cash flow forecasts
* Monitor petty cash and record transactions
* Prepare draft management reports for review by Financial Controller / CFO
* Reconcile GST/BAS data
* Depreciate fixed assets in the company accounting package
* Accrue expenses or revenue
* Reconcile loan accounts and intercompany transactions
* Assist managers place purchase orders for procurement of production materials.
* Prepare and issue customer sales invoices
* Assist with processing product sales orders including liaising with suppliers and logistics providers.
* Reconcile product sales orders with batch production and deliveries.
* Greet visitors to the office
* Assist managers arrange internal and external meetings and events
* Assist managers arrange travel and accommodation
