The Head of Department - Mathematics and Health & Physical Education, will work closely with teachers to support students to engage positively in their learning and achieve success.
Responsibilities include:
* Developing teacher understandings of the Australian Curriculum V9 to consolidate and build on the strong A/B data tradition at the school
* Developing teacher capability within senior general mathematics subjects to improve student outcomes
* Leading and overseeing the HPE department to consolidate HPE curriculum development and expand the school's flourishing Sports Development Program
* Building the social wellbeing and group identity of a year level

* You will have curriculum and teaching expertise within mathematics, having successfully taught maths across years 7-12.
* You will have the capacity to build strong relationships and lead teams with diverse skills and knowledge sets.
