Peat's Office Equipment is currently looking for an I.T Network and Computer Technician to join our service centre on a permanent basis. We are looking for someone that is excited about I.T and wants to join a team of professionals and help our business and our clients businesses grow and give their full potential to achieve great things.
Qualifications & Experience
* Strong technical, hands‑on troubleshooting experience.
* Minimum 5 years' experience working (not schooling) in an I.T support delivery team.
* Excellent communication skills and strong customer focus.
* Exceptional attention to detail.
* Experience and knowledge of end‑to‑end ICT support functions including service desk ticketing, systems administration, and enterprise security.
* Extensive experience in cloud‑based platforms and services such as Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Azure Active Directory (Entra ID).
* Significant attention to detail with a focus on process improvements.
* Technical expertise in Wireless, Security, Routing and Switching.
* Ability to thoroughly document site notes including technical documents, end user documents, and operational procedures.
Tasks & Responsibilities
* Support and maintain customers with Managed Service Agreements.
* Maintain Enterprise storage systems and virtual hosts.
* Identify technology limitations and deficiencies in existing systems and associated processes, procedures and methods.
* Research, consult, analyse and evaluate system, network and program needs.
* Perform analysis to identify anomalies or threats and maintain system/network security measures.
* Construct technical specifications, including cyber security, from a business functional model.
* Write, update and maintain technical program, end‑user documentation and operational procedures.
* Test and write technical documentation.
* Participate in the presales process and deliver on solution set within the project.
* Plan, design, develop, configure and commission networks and systems.
* Desktop application and hardware support.
* Conduct maintenance and support of Windows‑based servers.
* Travel to clients to provide technical support.

Other Requirements
* Current Australian Driver's License.
* Right to work permanently in Australia.
* Must relocate or reside locally.
