We are seeking an experienced Logistics Transport Coordinator to join our team at dex Transport in Townsville, QLD. In this full‑time role, you will be responsible for coordinating the efficient and timely delivery of goods across our extensive road transport network. Working closely with our fleet of drivers and logistics partners, you will ensure our customers receive the high‑quality service they expect.
What you'll be doing
* Liaise with clients to understand their delivery requirements and timelines
* Allocate loads to drivers and monitor progress to ensure on‑time delivery
* Optimise vehicle utilisation and routing to maximise efficiency
* Coordinate with third‑party logistics providers as needed
* Maintain detailed records and reporting on all transport activities
* Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes and procedures
* Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
