We are now seeking experienced and compassionate Male Disability Support Workers to join our team to support a participant with complex mental health needs and challenging behaviours.
About the Role
This is a specialised role where experience is essential. You will be working closely with a participant who requires intensive support, including managing behaviours such as aggression and other high-risk situations.
Key Responsibilities
 * Provide direct, person-centred support for a participant with complex mental health needs.
 * Manage challenging behaviours safely and professionally.
 * Support daily living tasks and encourage independence.
 * Follow and implement individualised behaviour support plans.
 * Accurately record incidents, progress, and observations.
 * Work collaboratively with our team to ensure consistent, safe, and effective care.
Key Requirements
 * Minimum 2+ years' experience in mental health or disability support, specifically with high-risk behaviours.
 * Proven ability to remain calm, professional, and resilient under pressure.
 * Strong knowledge of mental health conditions and behaviour management strategies.
 * Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
 * Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Police Check, and First Aid/CPR.
 * Relevant qualifications in mental health/disability (desirable).
 * Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $35.48 – $45.75 per hour
