Project Management Coordinator
The role involves supporting the project manager in coordinating manufacturing projects across various workshops, including the foundry and machine shop. The successful candidate will utilize a sophisticated job costing MRP system to facilitate tasks and ensure timely production output.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop work instructions from drawings and specifications.
* Interface with production management staff to introduce jobs into production.
* Monitor daily performance of all jobs under care.
* Comply with quality system requirements and participate in quality initiatives.
* Work with production team to manage scheduling software.
* Produce quotations and tenders as appropriate.
* Liaise with customer representatives.
Requirements:
* Machining trade background or bachelor's degree in engineering with machining knowledge.
* Ability to manage customer projects from quotation to delivery stage.
* Effective communication and collaboration skills.
* 5 years of experience in project management.
* Sound knowledge of engineering workshop practice - particularly machining.
* Experience working closely with engineering commercial and development teams.
* Relationship building and liaison skills.
* ISO certification and MS Office proficiency.
* Proficiency in spoken/written English and Australian citizenship.
