We are seeking an experienced professional with strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills and the ability to lead teams in the development of short medium and long term mine plans. This role is ideal for someone who has experience working underground mining operations.
About You
1. You will have a tertiary qualification in mining engineering or related discipline.
2. You must also possess over seven years' experience in underground mining operations. Your background should include two plus years' experience as a senior mine planning engineer. Excellent communication skills and knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations are essential requirements for this position.
3. An understanding of technical software including Deswik (& Deswik IS) is preferred but not necessary if you can demonstrate your expertise elsewhere.
