About The Role And Team
The Hall & Wilcox Business Development, Marketing & Communications team comprises specialists across all areas of professional services BD and marketing. The team is recognised at the firm for its insight and experience and is valued across the partnership.
Culturally, the team is respectful and supportive, with a focus on having fun while working hard. The team operates nationally and has been working flexibly for 15+ years. This role can be based across any of our office locations, including Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Newcastle, Adelaide, Canberra and Darwin.
This role is based in our Client Systems team and is responsible for supporting the manager in driving engagement of the BD systems and maintaining high quality data.
You will be responsible for:
System engagement
* Working with the Client Insights & Systems Manager to build internal engagement for the use of InterAction and Foundation
* Developing Viva posts, training ideas, newsletters and emails
* Using data to identify gaps in knowledge and help address this
* Communicating consistent messaging on role responsibilities and helping drive use by assisting lawyers and legal assistants when required
* Developing and implementing a calendar of engagement ideas with the team
* Running one‑on‑one training with legal assistants
Building insight stories
* Supporting the Client Insights & Systems Manager in building reports and communications demonstrating insight from client data
* Running PowerBI reports and looking for themes and stories to tell
* Assisting in monthly reporting cycle
Data integrity and maintenance
* Keeping client information updated in the CRM and Foundation portal and encouraging/helping Legal Assistants and lawyers to update information
* Running searches in the CRM to assist lawyers and BD team members for segmenting lists
* Working with the manager and client systems co‑ordinator to identify new ways to maintain data and encourage others to participate
* Ensuring standard suite of data maintenance tasks are completed as required
About You
* Minimum 2 years' experience in professional services business, client development and/or marketing
* Strong attention to detail
* Strong CRM database or other information systems experience
* Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact at all levels
* Excellent written and communication skills
* Flexible approach and good persistence
* Proactive and strong problem‑solving abilities
* Team player
* Highly organised with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
